Maine's beautiful scenery can be deceptive as the weather is rigorous, whether in the woods or on the sea. Success was truly earned through dedication and hard work.
Maine veterans make up 13.2% of the current population compared to 9.8% nationally. Voluntary military and community service is strong in the hearts and minds of citizens in the most sparsely populated state west of the Mississippi River.
Today, residents seek to resume work, reopen businesses and care for neighbors as usual. All of this highlights the characteristics of MAINE STRONG.
